Project Details
We were contacted by a local joiner Matt, from Empire Joinery who was completing the full refurbishment of this amazing duplex apartment in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Matt completed the initial survey and sent over all the specs and images for us to create a quotation and 3D images for his client. Layout wasn’t to change too much, but we suggested moving the taller units next to the wall, away from the door entrance as they originally were, giving a little extra space once you enter the room from the hallway.
Mr Kneale was very happy with our suggestion and loved the images we created for him.

Although we did not project manage the installation part of this refurbishment, we were still in communication with Matt throughout. There was a delay with having the kitchen delivered due to some unforeseen circumstances once Matt and his team had removed the existing flooring. They encountered a water damaged sub floor which needed to be completely removed and replaced before the kitchen installation could begin. We informed Matt and Mr Kneale that it would not be a problem for us to store the kitchen in our factory until they were 100% ready to receive delivery.
Once the new flooring had been laid, we arranged for delivery for installation to begin. Once all of the base units had been installed and levelled, we arranged for the quartz worktops to be templated. The time between template to installation of quartz worktops is usually 7-10 days. This allows for the fabrication process of the quartz worktops to happen. During the time it takes for the fabrication of the quartz worktops, the rest of the kitchen can be installed except the sink and hob which can only be installed after the worktops have been fitted.
